Bug or feature: Xinha replaces PHP-Tags <? with <!--?

Hello!

I set

xinha_config.stripScripts = false;

, but still Xinha replaces PHP-Tags (<?, ?>) in the code with comment blocks (on Windows7, Mozilla 9.0.1. with <!--? and ?-->, on IE 8 with <!-- and --!>.

I can´t find any config variable to change it. How can I turn this off? All php-Tags in the edited HTML are removed, I don´t want them to be touched. Perfectly they should be shown as a php icon in the editor.

Thanks for Xinha and thanks for your help
Christian
